December was truly magical at Seaside Coworking! The month kicked off with our Christmas tree decoration day, where community spirit was on full display. The festivities began with a sushi lunch outing, which set the tone for an amazing day. Back at our coworking space, we worked together to decorate the space with TWO Christmas trees and holiday decorations that spread warmth and cheer throughout the building.
But the fun didn’t stop there. That evening, we gathered for a cozy movie night with popcorn and steaming mugs of hot chocolate. It was a chance to relax, take in some holiday vibes, and share laughs with coworkers who felt more like family.
Of course, December wouldn’t be complete without our long-standing tradition: the Annual Raclette Dinner Party. This classic Swiss/French cheese dinner was an absolute highlight, with over 25 coworkers coming together to indulge in Raclette cheese, potatoes, ham, and vegetarian-friendly veggies. The atmosphere was perfect for conversation, connection, and laughter. Naturally, the night ended with lively dancing—it wouldn’t be a Seaside party without a dance floor!
January: Starting the New Year with Energy
The new year brought with it fresh energy and inspiration for our coworking community. We kicked off January with an interactive quiz night that focused on the benefits of vegan foods. This fun blend of competition and education allowed coworkers to learn more about plant-based diets, all while having a great time.
Post-quiz, we hosted a delicious Vegetarian Mexican Feast that turned our coworking space in Matosinhos into the vibrant heart of Porto for the evening. We shared an array of colorful and flavorful vegetarian dishes, fostering culinary creativity and, of course, connection among all of us.
